There are days that go quickly, and then there are days that just drag on and on. Those are the days that your mind starts to wander down various paths, just to keep from losing it over the boredom. Some times that wandering leads to the red door.
The red door never opens on the same room twice. The scents, lights and sounds are unique each time. Let us see what is behind the red door today.
Even before opening the door, I can hear low murmurs and what sounds like a low hum. I turn the knob and pull, trying to be very quiet. The lights are casting low shadows that move against the far wall. I can see a glimmer of satin and silk, pale skin and flowing hair. The moaning has merged with the low hum and the sound is electrifying. I quickly close the door behind me and let my eyes grow used to the dim.
