When I was in London and Paris this past Spring I enjoyed the Fine Art Museums totally engaged and enthralled with the whole idea of being in the presence of original art in the London Portrait Gallery, The Louvre Italian Masters, The Place de Versailles and on and on. The most startling piece to me, was a smallish painting in the middle of one gallery, on a wall that divided two paths, by itself, no grand glory, no security and from what I can remember I could touch it with my nose. I initially whisked by trying to scan as much as I could of the huge gallery like a kid in a candy store , pinching myself that finally I have the opportunity to see firsthand all that I have studied in the past, snapping photo after photo knowing full well my memory would lose details from being bombarded with so much stimuli,

to find myself halting and backtracking.
